  • 2. Eternity depends on how we answer that question

I. DIFFERENT KINDS OF FAITH

  • A. People can have "little faith"
  • 1. Matt 6:30 ""Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (NKJ)
  • 2. These people did not believe God would take care of them
  • 3. They were consumed by worry about their needs
  • 4. They did not put God first

  • B. People can have weak faith
  • 1. Rom 14:1 Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. (NKJ)
  • 2. These people were confused about what they could and could not do
  • 3. They did not understand their freedom in Christ
  • 4. They bound things needlessly

  • C. People can have incomplete faith
  • 1. John 12:42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; (NKJ)
  • 2. Here some of the rulers believed on Jesus, but not to the point of doing anything about it
